In-ear headphones with good bass recommendations

Does anyone have any recommendation on good in-ear headphones that have good bass? Like the ones that you stick inside your ear canal.
I'm currently using the Sennheiser HD555, and although the music is clear, it lacks bass. And I'm looking for something more portable now,
which is why I'm looking for in-ears headphones.
I've never bothered getting higher-end ones before, but are they worth it?
Because they are in-ear, I would never demo them at a store for hygienic reasons, so I'm not sure how to choose...
I've only bought cheap $10 in-ear headphones before.
I'm not an audiophile, so I don't have super high expectations.
I've used the Sony MDR-XB300 before, and the bass is not bad, but some songs can sound "muddy."
I'm looking for something slightly like that with the bass, but less "muddy", and in the form of in-ear headphones.
I don't have a specific budget, but really just looking for something that's good "bang-for-buck",
as long as it's not ridiculous like SOUL® or Beats™ (Don't have that kind of money).
Klipsch S4
Mid range price. Great clear sound.

Klipsch S4 is terribly overpriced for its sound quality.
Give the Ultimate Ears UE350 a try. I've used several mid to high-end in ear buds, these ones are surprisingly decent with tight bass, strong mids and crisp highs. I purchased mine brand new in open box from eBay for $35, totally worth it. Dare I even say it sounds more rich with more of an impact than my Sony EX500s.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I'm going to check reviews on all of these.
One more question, are the more expensive in-ears a lot better than the cheap $10 ones?
Or is the real secret in good sound just getting a "good seal" in your ear?
I know whenever I push in headphones into my ear, they always sound a lot better :lol

I'm using Shure SE215s right now and they're great. Not too expensive either. Seems like everyone in here has pretty good suggestions. Just don't buy beats by Dre.

I have the ultimate ears 500
Pretty good bass, and the sound isolation isn't that bad, when people try to speak to me, all I see is their lis moving :troll:. I picked them up for 40 bucks new before tax.

Best budget in ears you can get locally imo are JVC Marshmallow's. $30 or less and sound great. didn't like the Klipsch much.

After some research, i'm currently leaning toward the cx300 II, or the MEElectronics M31.
I found them for $20/$30 on Ebay.
I thought about the SP51, but want sure if they were going to be worth it.
I couldn't find them cheap on Ebay. And the bass tuning seemed more like a novelty
Than real use, since I'm just going to use the extreme bass ones and never switch them again.
I checked out the official sites for some of the headphones, but they don't even mention "bass"
In their ad or catch phrases. That's a red flag for me, since I'm looking for bass, not "enhanced acoustic audio", etc.

whats your budget?
I would be comfortable with something around $40-50. Anything more, and it will take a lot of convincing why they are worth that much before I go for it. Definitely $100 is my max though.
And I'm also taking in account how easy I can get them. If I don't have to so online shopping, im willing to pay extra $15 just so I don't have to wait.

Cant go wrong with the Mee
If you are looking for deep low tight bass (the kind you find in the sony XB range of headphones) then you should seriously consider Sony's XB range of in ears. I own the XB20, XB40, XB41IP and they deliver (I had to buy Comply T400s to get a proper seal thou, stock single flange ones were rubbish for my ears). I believe you can easily walk into BB/FS to pick up the lower range XB20/XB21 for about 30-40 bucks.
I bought a set of MEe m6p (seems like everyone and their dog thinks it very good/has tons of bass) and honestly, its not what people claim it to be. There is more bass than your average $20 sony/jvc/skullcandy/apple buds but does not even come close to satisfying bass cannon lovers/fans. Then again for ~$40 Shipped to my door, I can accept that it will not fair as well as a ~$100 MDR-XB41

SP51's also have a bigger 10.0mm driver.
Here's brief review:
[REVIEW] MEElectronics SP51 & A151 (http://www.head-fi.org/t/546688/review-meelectronics-sp51-a151)
I use the M11+ myself and it's enough bass for me. I also really like the type of cabling they use on their headphones and the shitloads of eartips and accessories they include.
$100 max budget? Want massive bass?
The Hippo VB bar none. $89 shipped (with free DAC) from jaben.net
If you want to up your budget to something ridiculous, Sennheiser IE8 is apparently bass-heavy. Though I've never heard them myself, a friend has them and he actually dislikes that the IE8s pump out sooo much bass.
Also, having owned the CX300ii for a while, I think it kinda sucks. The amount of bass it puts out does offset its lack of clarity compared to similarly priced IEMs (MeE M6 <3). It's not as durable as the M6 either.

And how much does dynamic mm driver factor in?
Or is it some number that only means something on paper?
M31 has 9mm
Sp51 has 10mm
Is that a lot of difference?

Future Sonics Atrio M5 or M8 (only difference between the two models is the colour).
This. Get the Atrio Pros if you want bass (same headphones as above). This has some of the best bass unless you're willing to pay more than $300, and it goes very, very deep. Check out the review online, and I've a coupon code for 50% off if you want it. Seriously, try searching for headphones with the best bass and this will pop up.
RE: Atrio M5 - They are almost double his budget but yes, they are fairly universally known for their bass.

M31 has 9mm

Driver size has at most a correlative relationship with sound quality. Drivers of different sizes can be tweaked to give different sounds. Also: highs = treble, mid = mids, lows = bass.

It is 100% legit; I know couple of guys who've tried it. If you're going to get new headphones you might as try messing around with the 555s.

I've already did the mod. Haven't noticed a big difference, but I'm not an audiophile so my ears might not be that sensitive.
I like modding things though so I did it for fun. Easy to do... Took about eight minutes.
I might settle for the SP51... Anyone know how does it compare with the m6p in bass?
And is MEElectronics a new company? Can't find a wiki page on them.
is there a cheaper place to order than from their official site?
