You can almost understand (I use that to loosely) the whole political thing if there was some "damn to man" mentality to dude was rocking...but why the schools?!

The question is tho is this from the same killer? I know he sent a package to the Liberals which was intercepted but why send body parts to two random schools in Vancouver? Makes no sense.

But the previous packages he sent weren't linked to anyone particular, he was doing it for kicks and for the fame so he decided to send one package to the Liberals and the other for the Conservatives. That's why it's bizarre that two packages would be addressed to unknown schools in Vancouver.

someone posted a video of magnotta cutting up the exchange student. Pretty sure you see his face in the video at one point so that rules out diversion. However, it doesn't rule out a copy cat killer. btw, not proud of watching that video..:okay:

Looks like most likely this isn't a copycat situation, but just a continuation of the existing one. Guess it just took longer for the packages to come out west from Montreal.

News article said it was a right hand and right foot that were sent to the schools, and those were the limbs that weren't accounted for yet.

Looks like the body parts are from the Montreal victim because the letter and packaging sent to both schools is similar to the package that was sent to the Conservative head office plus the Montreal police has taken over the investigation. They also said the killer might have came through Vancouver at some point and for whatever picked the two schools to send the packages. Creepy thing is the head is still missing, I wonder who he sent the head to.

DNA tests have revealed the hand and foot sent to two Vancouver schools belong to the man believed to have been murdered and dismembered by Luka Magnotta.
Montreal police confirm the body parts sent to False Creek Elementary and Saint George's School two weeks ago are those of 33-year-old Jun Lin.
A hand and foot sent to offices of political parties in Ottawa have also been confirmed to be Lin's, as well as a torso found near a Montreal dumpster.
His head remains missing.
Magnotta is still awaiting extradition to Canada from Berlin, after he was arrested there following an international manhunt.
