It's a good start to the preseason but it means nothing what so ever. Shit the first 8 games don't mean nothing either. Thats the main thing I like and dislike about the CFL one big hot streak at the end and you win the Grey Cup.

^well, they looked nice in person at the game last night.

The Lions dominated the Bombers, but it was a good, entertaining game. Geroy's milestone was great to see. Lulay was playing well and hard as always, but the guy takes a lot of hits unnecessarily. I hope he doesn't end up banged up for most of the season.

I was at the game. Half the stadium left within 2 minutes of that interception.

This is two weeks in a row where the Lions dominate yardage but a 100+ yard play bites them in the ass.

Reilly was a little shaky at the beginning (especially that interception...yikes!), but he really seemed to settle down. That and the Lions defence came up huge. Adam Bighill is an absolute monster, I love that guy. Really says something when you essentially keep out Elimimian of a role he would have stepped back into.

Games like this really speak to the depth the Lions have. Number one QB, receivers, defense etc etc out, and they still put a beating on Edmonton. That bye week is really going to help everyone rest up. I can't wait for the Western Final

I don't think Travis is too concerned about it - if there's one thing Wally always instilled, it was the importance of the TEAM. I would fully expect Benny to be of the same mind, or he wouldn't have gotten the HC job.

I wouldn't be surprised to actually see Riley start the next game just to get some more reps in, and then Lulay start the season closer so he doesn't get rusty before the WDF.

Lulay gave all his fucks to the team...and has no fucks to give about records. That guy is all about the team and his teammates. I'm sure if you asked, he'd give the same answer as everyone "It's cool but it's all about the win, etc." except I believe him when he says that. Lulay is a class act...met him earlier this year.

Guy won a Grey Cup and a MVP (...MOP...LOL) award in his first season as a starter. If he didn't get injured, he'd be a lock to win it again.
