Finally someone is making computers without all the bloatware.

I've seen the Vizio TV's in the American Walmart's, they are pretty solid. However, i'd have to see the specs on these laptops/pc's before I consider picking one up.

is it just me or does it seem like the concept of their laptop/all-in-one is taken from apple..?

because apple never stole any ideas before...

Also, all-in-ones aren't only seen by apple computers.

Their laptops look very similar to HP's dm series

Actually I was mainly commenting on their sleek look design (no blinking lights etc.) & then wanting to redo the traditional track pad

Just saw some specs here: Vizio details its first laptops: two thin-and-lights and a mainstream 15-incher, on pre-order for $898 and up -- Engadget (http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/14/vizio-first-laptops/#disqus_thread)

I don't know if the laptops come with Widi but it would be awesome if it did and the TV's had the receiver built in.

I'm not very impressed... with a slim design like that, the specs are very limited, they would end up overheating like the iMacs that arent cleaned every month.

I thought the price would be lower. I would rather buy a $300 laptop from Best Buy and have money left over for something else.

kind of a dumb thing to say about being slim and specs are limited....technology changes so quickly that you might say that several years ago but not anymore...
