ACN: Legit Business or Scam

Has anyone encountered being recruited by ACN, is this a legit business or does it offer actual benefits. It seems like the company is only interested in benefiting their pyramid schemes, and making money off the recruiters.

American communications network. Supposedly its been sponsered and advertised on the apprentice, it offers a cheaper rate for mobile phone plans, heating, alotta different household shit for a much cheaper price. Basically they claim that acn can offer these rates for a much lower price because they dont use advertisements and such to promote their company. The say they offer residual income for each person you can sign, but what actually happens, is they dont make the people they hire do that, they basically say they want you to find other members so they can create a bigger pyramid scheme. They say they allow each person to create their own network, and if u r able to create a team of nine, you basically create a team of your own, which u then recieve $1000 bucks for, if you get another team, you get $1500 for. It increases up and up, but at no point are you actually selling the services, you are just creating teams. Where they make money is through the sign up fees and such, which are roughly $500 bucks to "create your own business". What do u guys think?

These multi-level marketing money making trends come along ever so often, and the bottom line is that it is possible to make decent money if you put in serious hard work and dedication. Then again, you can succeed at most things in life if you not only work hard, but smart and plan ahead, expect mistakes, and keep trudging forward.

A quick google search will tell you a lot about the company, and doing a bit of research shows that there really is no secret... ACN runs a legitimate business but they are scrutinized because people can't stand facing the fact that their failures come from within themselves and have to blame anything else.

If you get in because you are swayed by the idea of 'quick and easy' money, then be prepared to be sorely disappointed. There are probably a lot of good things you can learn from trying to succeed in this type of business, but chances are most people will be disappointed after working for a year and ending up making less than minimum wage.
