Started playing Batman: arkham asylum today. Great game. Nice that arkham city is on sale too :) actually the whole franchise, so grabbed that too along with Gotham Imposters and the Harley Quinn DLC pack.

I find it a pretty challenging game. Takes a lot of teamwork to get through the levels. The harder levels definitely requires upgraded weapons or you won't survive.

That said, I think $5 on L4D2 is a much better buy.

I love how well Gods & Kings plays in multiplayer. Vanilla Civ 5 was a trainwreck with constant disconnects (even on LAN, ugh). I got 4 friends together for G&K after the sale and we've been playing a marathon-huge game on Shuffle map over the last week or so. I wish it supported more than 8 civs, though.

What I do is ask myself if I would play the game if it was free. Generally the answer is no, but sometimes it's yes, so I pick it up for sale.

I rarely pay full price for a game anymore. Would rather wait a year for the "AAA" titles. Smaller games are often cheaper and shorter, which suits my lifestyle these days, and better anyway.
