Limited Connectivity/Access to internet

I got the blue screen of death and after I restarted my pc, I get a limited connectivity error whenever I try to connect wireless Internet. Doesn't matter where I am: UBC, Starbucks, home, none of them work. Plus, the blue screen of death erased all my system restore points. Any ideas how to is this?

HP G62
4GB RAM, 64-bit, Windows 7 Home Premium, up to date on Windows Update.

Virus scanned, everything's fine but still can't connect.

Maybe your driver crapped out? Go to Device Manager, uninstall the wifi driver, and then "Scan for hardware changes" to let the system reinstall the driver, automatically. Do wired connections still work?

I might be wrong, but it also could be your firewall.

No connection at all? Not even periodically?

Oldschool windows way to reset ip configurations:
Go to cmd prompt in accessories
enter ipconfig /release
then after a few minutes type
enter ipconfig /renew

i'm guessing your hardware or drivers is failling...i had similar issues where it would intermently lose connection with my wireless network. I just gave up and bought a wired home kit or w/e

Tried the cable and it didn't work either. Should I just reformat my computer?
