Hey guys/gals, the self-timer on my D80 doesn't seem to want to wait any longer than 2 seconds despite me setting the self-timer setting to 10s or 20s, etc.

Anyone have any idea of a fix or if it's a setting that I'm missing?

Apparently it's only when I use the remote that the self-timer only waits 2 seconds despite my settings. The self-timer works just fine when I use the shutter button. I swear I've been able to use the remote with various self-timer settings before.
