i know i am...
i'm not much of a gamer but i'm what you call a casual gamer but what i would love for this is using it as a media streamer...now with XBMC's partnership and PLEX support to come, this will most likely be the best priced media solution...
if the price remains at $99...this will be a killer device....:fullofwin:

I'll wait until it comes out, and see how it fairs in the reviews. It'd be a toy, since it can't do anything better than what I have, already.
if it can be used as a decent media box/browser that would be cool and i might consider it.
i think it's nice that an affordable mainstream option is available for families that cant afford $300+ gaming systems.

I don't think this will go anywhere. But they got so damn much money from so many foolish people that now they have to "put on a show" to try and come up with something.
I have no faith in the abilities of these people to come up with a mass-produced consumer product free from hardware/software problems and sell it at that price. Nor do I believe thay will attract the interest of "real" developers to gamble their resources on making titles for it.

Thats why they deemed it hackabled so people will be the ones fixing the problems...
If it remains at 99 bux this will bed better than the pivos streamer for a media streamer.,.

Very cool but I'm not sure I'd buy one. Really have to see what kind of games it'll have because I don't need a media player.
If it's like iPhone games but on a controller and TV, then I'm out. I think mobile phones are killing handheld gaming devices like the Gameboy and PSP because...why would you carry two gaming devices? And phone games are at most $5 compared to $30-50.
The same doesn't work with games played on the TV which we expect to be more complicated and better designed and produced. Do you want to play Angry Birds on your TV?
It'll all depend on the quality of games they can produce.
