This thing is the greatest invention for oily skin people!! I use it on a daily basis and they are incredible. After I eat some wind sand deep fried chicken wings, I can suck 6 sheets of these things!

Anybody knows what they are made of? How is it possible for these little plastic sheets to absorb oil???

they are like wax paper (shit you use for baking) but for your face. there are clean and clear versions which should be cheaper if you buy them on ebay or hk.

They're called "blotting papers"

so how you use these things?

Just take a sheet and wipe it around your face and it absorbs oil. I don't know about the gatsby ones, but the ones I've seen before turn black so you know which part you've used

i am sure you can see where you used it by the oily spots on the paper.

your face is oily because there's not enough moisture on your skin.
buy some face moisturizer

^ just start drinking more water and eating fish oil pills everyday. It will fix your skin for good rather than dealing with the issues as they come up.

sorry for a noob question: but does geling your hair result in more oil on your forehead? I have always wondered about this...

Yes it does.

As for those using the oil blotching sheets, don't use them to "wipe" your skin.

Use them in a "padding" motion to absorb the oil.

Just take a sheet and wipe it around your face

Pad instead of wipe. Wiping face with anything would damage your skin.

This might sound gross but these sheets are the same thing as those toilet seat covers you see at gas stations. Just take a few of those and cut them into squares and save yourself some money.

If you don't believe me, try it yourself. No troll.

:suspicious: They're less than $1. I'd rather spend a dollar than go into a filthy gas station LMAO.

You guys are mistaken. These oil suck sheets are like little plastic sheets, blue or black in colour. Not the wax paper type. Once the sheet absorb the oil from your face, it will turn darker in colour and if enough oil is blotted, it will almost be see-thru
