Although it sucks to hear your bike has been stolen, I have to commend you on a well detailed stolen post & pictures pointing out details specific to your bike and in a rapid period of time.

Best of luck getting her back. Thieves are scum.

What can you do with a stolen bike? Is it easy to register in another province?

Part out is probably easiest, but if you look here

EX Thief & "chop-shop" operator AMA : motorcycles (http://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/t5shp/ex_thief_chopshop_operator_ama/)

He explains some of the stuff he did to sell stolen bikes. If anything its a good read in general

Why is the exhaust wrapped? absorbs some heat and sound?

Why is the exhaust wrapped? absorbs some heat and sound?

It doesn't absorb sound, but yes it absorbs heat. Which keeps external temps down, and internal exhaust velocity up.

Appreciate you guys keeping an eye out. This is actually my bike. Thanks for posting this Brandon.

This was seen again 2 days ago in Surrey, heading towards New West. A guy down the street from me saw it. He assumed it was me and actually scolded me for riding like such an idiot. 200+kmh, weaving through traffic. I explained it was stolen and he was apologized a bunch, and wished he would have known to call it in.

Hopefully we can find this idiot. My insurance company is refusing to pay me a dime, so this has really screwed me.

Thanks for keeping your eyes peeled.

Whats up with the insurance claim?

Whats up with the insurance claim?

It was Alberta insurance, as I'm still technically an AB resident. My broker originally fucked up the policy spec. It's been a huge disaster - and I'm left in the dark unless he fesses up to it, apparently. I'm filing a claim with the Insurance Regulations Board of AB, but it takes ages. This is my daily driver, and I'm totally screwed at the moment with it having disappeared.

I really hope you get your bike back in one piece and not bagged to shit man.

I'm hoping this motherfucker crashes at high speeds or gets hit by a semi truck, that would put a end to his thievery for good.

But then the OP doesn't get his bike back, and gets no insurance. :okay: I hope he gets knocked the fuck out walking over to the bike in a parking lot instead.

I'm hoping he does get his bike back, but if he does not, then I hope the fucking thief gets what he deserves.

To be honest,I would not even want the bike back, not after the way it has been ridden around, that's just my opinion.

Thanks for the plate number. Will hand it off to look into.

And yeah, the bike would never be the same to me in principal after this. But, my insurance hasn't paid out a dime. And I've been totally screwed because of it. So, if I get it back - at least I have options. Be it selling it, parting it out, rebuilding it, or whatever else. Whatever happens, I will be out a lot of money. But, that would at least soften the blow a bit - and give me the peace of mind that I got what's mine (and hopefully, the thief 'gets what he's had coming').

Got a text from a guy a few days ago who saw it on Oak St. Bridge. Seems to be back and forth between the area down to Surrey Central via King George. Again, he was spotted doing 100+kmh while weaving through traffic. Very disappointed that he hasn't been caught yet. Just yesterday I finally had a cop call me back. I understand there are a lot of stolen vehicles daily, and things get treated as such . . . But this bike has been spotted many times, always being ridden very dangerously. I have no idea how he hasn't been pulled over.

Thanks to everyone who's been keeping their eye out.

Spotted your bike weaving through traffic in Surrey along 72nd today probably headed to Oak St Bridge? Couldn't get a look at the rider or plate but i'll let you and 911 know if I ever see it pull up to a house.

I have no idea how he hasn't been busted yet. So frustrating.

Did the bike look to be in OK condition?

Did you manage to see anything about the rider? Wearing any gear, helmet color, etc?

Thanks for keeping an eye out. Let's find this fucking idiot.

If you see him again give me a call 911 immediately, and then call me immediately after -- I'll be right on it. The police said they'll have a helicopter in the air on another sighting due to the frequency of sightings on this case, and the danger he's putting other motorists in.

Thanks again !

Thanks guys. If you see it, just call it in. I'd prefer if you can call me, too. But anyone who doesn't have my number - just call 911 and they'll have someone on his ass.

A couple guys have also messaged me about the "Kill Your Local Car / Bike Thief" fundraiser stickers. If anyone's interested, they're available here in a bunch of different sizes and colors.

Insurance didn't pay me a cent for this. So, I really appreciate anyone who's picked one up to help replace this. Every buyer is also entered into a mini pre-launch CS prize back. Thanks for everyone who's helped out with this, and has continued to keep an eye out. This has been a nightmare of a situation, and really screwed me.

Even if I get my bike back, I know it won't be close to the state it was once it. But, at least I have some options in parting it out, or rebuilding it. In the meantime, everyone who's picked one of these up has really helped soften the blow a bit. Thanks guys.

Someone else spotted this again, but didn't call in because he said he didn't have my number until after the fact. If you see it - please just call 911 to get someone on it first, regardless if you have my number on hand or not.

it must be some fucking junky or somthing, who would be stupid enough to continually drive it around unless somone just "lent" their "new" bike to a buddy or somthing like that

I think it's actually some low level crack dealer.

I think it was stolen by junkies, traded for crack (or whatever else), and now this dealer is running between Oak St. Bridge area, to Surrey Central. He's continuously spotted in the same areas -- and he's riding like a fucking idiot, like someone with something to prove / someone who doesn't give a fuck.

This whole situation has been made so much more frustrating in the fact that . . .

A) He's been spotted so many times, but no one has called the police when he's seen (or don't know that it's a stolen bike until after the fact).

B) The police haven't managed to pull someone over who is continuously seen weaving through traffic, doing wheelies, and 200+km/h an hour speeds in 60 zones. This all being done on a bright green, ungoldly loud, stolen bike.

I understand that vehicles get stolen daily, and that cops can't keep track of every single one. Not too mention most of them aren't worth looking for, especially bikes, because they're parted out so quickly. But I have called in weekly with updates, sightings, locations, general time frames, etc. as I receive it -- and he's going about incredibly dangerous, illegal traffic violations every single day.

What's worse is that if I did get it back, I'd likely get pulled over for an exhaust ticket the first day out, just riding like a sane person. Who knows.

SPOTTED AGAIN.

King George & 100th Ave, heading down King George southbound. This idiot is still riding it. By the time I turned around, he was long gone. Doesn't help that I was in a 30hp kei van. So frustrating.

Police have been on the look. Appears to have had some of the the tail blacked out (might have been dropped), but he was blasting down 200+ km/h.

Still has the Micron pipe. The sheer sound of this thing + dual round headlamps make it easily distinguishable.
