It is not worth it to do on a car which will spend most of the time in the Lower Mainland. It also depends on who is doing it, it can get messy and making future servicing a pain in the ass eg covering lines etc (pain in the butt if you have to remove it in the future).

I would only do it, if you are restoring a car from scratch.

It's really only worth it if you lived in the salt belt. IE: Calgary and east of there.

Is it a new car? Most new cars are already very rust proof.
