Anyone catch the first episode? It's kinda interesting seeing a show based on a route that I take all the time. Episode 1 was a good intro, but I'm a little afraid it's going to turn into nothing more than an Ice Road Trucker's pseudo-drama fest between drivers.

Neat show. Hopefully it will help some naive lower mainland drivers understand just what they're up against before challenging the Coquihalla.

One of the drivers being featured towed my commercial truck down the Coquihalla when the transmission seized (long story....) during a snow storm a couple years ago. I was towed all the way back to Langley, so I got to hear quite a few great stories during the ride. The bill was in the thousands :lol

The season just ended, but apparently there's going to be a special episode, sort of like After The Catch for Deadliest Catch. It's on this Tuesday, the 30th.

I really like this show. It reminds me of earlier seasons of Deadliest Catch, when it wasn't as popular as it is these days.
