lol that's my buddy's sister. I'm not sure if she actually goes often, but their family owns Double Double Restaurant (formerly of Kingsway fame, now on No. 3 in Richmond). She looks pretty much the same in person as she does on the show.

And for those of you on the fence- it's really a funny show more than anything and I suggest getting the channel just to cancel it at the end of the season (if no torrents pop up). The reactions they get from people caught smuggling stuff are gold. The one where the skinny Asian kid had drugs in his suitcase, and he put his hands on his cheeks ala McCauley Culkin in Home Alone was priceless.

I always wondered though- how do they get people to comply and have their faces "unblurred" when they're caught doing something wrong. There must be some sort of compensation, or I'm missing some law that states you can show it without consent.

Remote possibility it's staged? Some parts are pretty stupid on the travellers' part...

An episode yesterday had a white girl named Erin I think, at one of the land crossings (Douglas?). Her and her partner were interviewing some girl who brought medicinal weed from California. Another totally tapable CBSA officer.

Can't remember if it was the same episode, but there some douche that just came back from Japan who was totally mouthing off to all the CBSA guys at YVR. I wanted him to get beat down. The guy was acting like a total idiot.

Fuuuuuu I'm such a sucker for lady officers (the good looking ones). Saw this cute blonde cop today in DT in plain clothes, except she had her badge out and a full on duty belt. Hoodied up, pony tail, all business.

Part of me was wondering why she was in plain clothes when her belt was totally exposed (gun, mags, baton, handcuffs.. :devil:). Is there a cop shop across or near the CBC building on Cambie?
