"According to Jalopnik, which first reported the story, the fire-engine red Gallardo belongs to a friend of the owner of Top Speed, a luxury car performance shop in Texas.
That man is dating a woman with an 18-year-old son and a 15-year-old daughter, who attends Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas."
...I wonder what the son drives?

Probably the same cars. It's not like the 15-year-old is driving this exclusively.
The headline has to say the 15-year-old because it has much more shock value than saying 18-year-old.

You think they would actually share?
That cars going to be totaled sooner or later.
Of course they would share the cars..they don't even belong to them, they get to drive them because their mom is dating a rich fuck.

If I was loaded to the point money meant nothing, I'd consider letting my teenage son borrow my Gallardo. Imagine all the high school poontang he'd get showing up in that.
I wouldn't. It's not a matter of money, it's a matter of safety. Some dumbass high school kid is almost sure to do something stupid and get injured, if not kill himself or others.

If you had a daughter would you let her ride with a teen in a high-powered sports car? At that point the least of my worries would be whether they're having sex.

I specifically said son for a reason.
Double standard, yep, oh well too bad.
If I raised him right, I shouldn't have to worry about him doing anything stupid with the car.
Shit, when I was growing up I knew that If I did anything stupid with the family sedan I'd get my ass beat, therefore I drove it with that mentality.

I was raised pretty responsibly myself but I still pinned the gas a couple times when I first got to borrow the car by myself, don't tell me an 18 year old boy in a Lambo isn't going up drive it fast now and again
