I'm looking for a good program or even the best way to convert the songs from your iPod to your computer. I lost all of my tunes on my comp and have 32gb of music on my iPod I want to transfer over.
It seems like there's tons of software out there but I'm just sketched out I will loose everything. I don't even mind paying cash for this just want to be able to transfer the music to my new iPhone.
Can anyone help me? :)
I hear you can do this with Winamp... or you can backup your iPod on your computer, then download a backup extractor. its fast. I did that with my iPhone before i sold it.

I'm mainly worried if I hook it up and try to do anything in iTunes it will delete all of my songs. There are some $30 programs out there that say that work and I would pay that in a second.

Try Sharepod. It's free. If it don't work you've got nothing to lose. I've used it to get songs off my gf's ipod. Don't even need itunes really.
Edit: FYI she didn't lose any of her songs when I transported them to her iPhone. Basically copy and paste.

use iTunes to listen to songs.. just sync the songs to your computer and re-sync it to your new iphone?
or doesnt apple have their "cloud" system for you to sync your music? or can you use any "cloud" based app like dropbox or something? it prolly take awhile to upload, maybe during the night when you sleep?? then you can have it whenever you need...

A few years ago, I used a program called Media Monkey, worked perfectly. I'm not sure where it's at now, but might be worth a look

This happened to me too a while ago, and pretty sure I used share pod as well..
Only thing that sucks is that there are a shitload of folders to go through when you're adding music
I can only imagine how long that takes with 32gb of music unless they updated it
