I call them ice plates but apparently not many others do as a google search doesn't yield much results.
I used to eat them a ton as a kid. Anywhere in the east van area or around Metrotown?
I'm sure if I walked around Parker Place or Aberdeen I'd find some in a minute, but that's kind of far.
basically looks like this. Like the stuff you can get at the night market but you get to choose a bunch of your own toppings from pearls and mochi to red beans.

Most (Taiwanese) Bubble tea places should serve them.
Bubble World Burnaby by Metrotown SHOULD, but I've only been there once so can't 100% confirm.
I usually get my fix from Zephyr in Richmond (Alderbridge and No. 3)

Theres a taiwanese shaved ice store in the grocery section of crystal mall. Idk what it's called unfortunately.

aberdeen food court has something like that. crystal mall has a small shop in the food court that does something 'like' that, but it's more crushed ice than shaved ice IMO, and it doesn't look as impressive with the toppings as in your pic

Frappe Bliss in Aberdeen does it this stye. Probably won't have as much in terms of toppings, but only place that comes to mind.

Frappe Bliss uses iced milk for shaved ice, and is softer/lighter. IMO, much tastier, but yea it probably doesnt have a much in toppings.
Tealips uses crushed ice, not exactly shaved ice, but their toppings are pretty good. Somewhat on the sweet side.
Not a fan of 508 Bistro, and have never ordered it, but shaved ice is on their menu.
No.1 Beef Noodle House has shaved ice also. It's off Willingdon and Moscrop, near the Burnaby BCIT.
All Bubble Worlds should have them.. I swear I see the posters for them all the time there.
THE ONE on Kingsways in Burnaby!

That is different shaved ice. Never tried that before.
If you like traditional shaved ice.
Next time you are in Hawaii, you have to try the shaved ice at The General Store in Haleiwa, North Shore.
I thought Matsumoto's was good. Their shaved ice is even smoother. They even have a coupon in the magazines for buy one get one for 1/2 price.
It's like the difference between the slurpee at 7 eleven and Mac's.
Slushee at Mac's is smoother than the slurpee from 7 eleven b/c the ice is finer

I recently had this Boiling Point in Richmond, pretty damn refreshing after scarfing down a big steaming spicy hotpot!
