FS: 1993 Milano Red Honda Prelude SR-V [TRACK READY]
Latest Pictures taken as of May 20/2013
Hi everyone! So here it is...I have a new project car that I'm working on, and unfortunately I have to let this one go!
I spent the last 2 years building this car the way I want it. I did MOST of the labour work myself, with the exception of the Custom 3" Buddy Club Pro Spec Stainless Steel Catback Exhaust (Speed Syndicate), 4-wheel Alignment for Caster, Camber & Toe (Dale's Alignment), Front End Alignment, Painted Front Lip & Side Skirts (Body Shop), and a full tune on Dynocom (Gearheads).
For those who know me, you will know how picky I am. I don't do shortcuts, and I don't do a half-ass build. Everything is done properly. No cheap aftermarket parts, no knock-off parts, only the good stuff! Hence the amount of time it took for me to complete this build, and the $34k I've dumped into this build in the last 2 years Most of the parts I purchased for this build were brand new, with the exception of a few rare parts that you just can't find anymore! Suspension & Brakes were all brand new, as those were the most important part of the build for me. The JDM F20B motor was purchased from one of the most sought after JDM importers in Calgary, as they've always been known for their strict quality control. I have receipts for most of the parts, and I also keep track of every purchase in my own spreadsheet file, as well as mileage and fuel consumption!
The car itself is a 1993 chassis that has been imported from the U.S.. It had 173,xxx miles (277,xxx original kms) when I purchased it 2 years ago. This car has been on the road since end of July 2012, and in total, I've only put about 6,000kms on this car, with all its brand new parts! That includes one Track Day (VCMC Track Day on Aug. 23rd, 2012), in which this car performed quite well in! Car weighed in at 2500lbs with no driver and a full tank of gas, and was dynoed at 195whp and 165ft/lbs of torque My main goal was to build this car so it could walk on a Type-R at the track..With R-Comp tires and better brakes, I'm sure my goal is doable!
As for price, I am asking $7,000 for the car AS-IS. Here is a mod list of what's installed in the car:

Here is a list of the "bad":
- Car needs to be aircared..I managed to get it insured before aircare expired this year..Car does run a 3" Magnaflow Catalytic Converter, it's tuned pretty conservatively, and this motor is a healthy motor. I'm sure it will pass aircare with no problem. If there's any serious offers, I will take care of aircare before it's a done deal.
- Paint on this car is not 10/10 . Some scuffs here and there, scratches, few small OEM pieces such as window moldings, etc., would need to be replaced, but ZERO quarter panel rust!
- This car has no luxury. No ABS, no A/C, no Power Steering, no Cruise Control, no sound deadening, no carpet, and no rear seats! This is a good thing for me personally, but I'm sure for a few people, this would be considered a deal-breaker!
- 2nd to 3rd gear shift grinds when the transmission is cold. When the car warms up, the grind goes away. Not a huge deal for me, I usually just upshift slower in the morning until the trans warms up, so I won't grind the gears. A new set of synchros would fix this problem right up!
Thanks for looking everyone, and for taking the time to read my long thread! Please feel free to PM me or email at nsxr_onald@hotmail.com if anyone's interested, or if you have any questions! Latest pictures are above, and below are some pics of this car back in its glory days, before I started the part-put..
At Mission Raceway..
Video of me driving this very car at Mission Raceway!
Car wasn't anywhere near clean by any means, just wanted to show everyone its most current state! I've been driving this car in the rain these last few weeks that it's been pouring, and in all honesty, this car is too much fun in the rain! I must've gotten something right..Something about the R1R tires, the reverse staggered wheel setup, the Quaife LSD, the way I set up the suspension, and the chassis itself..I can enter and exit corners at the same speed I'd usually enter when the road is dry, and the car would show absolutely zero sign of understeering..I even tried doing the same thing at speeds faster than I usually do on dry weather, and it would STILL grip all the way around the corners!
Anyway, I'm not encouraging anyone to drive fast by any means, but if anyone's looking for a FWD car that's fun to drive in the rain, this would be it I wish I can keep this car, but my new car is coming in a few weeks, and after that, this car would just end up sitting around rotting, unless I part it out..
So here I am, bumping this again..ANY serious, reasonable offers would be considered! I'd hate to have to part this car out, but if the car doesn't sell in a month, I might just have to Hope someone would take this off my hands before then!
Bumping this up again, before a full-on part-out begins I'd hate to part this car out, everything about this car has been put together so nicely by me..I've been driving it these last few days, and it still drives nicer than my new car! I've put just about 9,000kms on this car now..Everything is still in excellent working condition!
But it's time to move on, and plus the new car is already here, so this car has to go..Once again, if anyone is interested in the whole car, I'm VERY flexible on the price, as long as it's a serious offer! I'd much rather sell the car as is at a cheaper price than having to start stripping it piece by piece
Have a look at the mod list, add up the costs, and you'll see how good of a deal this is! I might throw a set of snow tires on it as well, just so I can drive it in the winter while the new car is down for maintenance..I'd imagine this car would be a blast to drive in the snow, with the Quaife LSD and the lightweight chassis!
