^
any source?
i read on ton or forums about it when i changed the seats in my si and when my brother did it in his rsx i cant remember where they are now but i found one that the guy had been in an accident and the airbag deployed no problem. the other thing you can do if fool the car by doing something with a resistor or something to make it think its still plugged in. but after i read it deployed i didnt bother.

What's the material those seats are made of? Alcantra?
at first i thought it was suede
after more researching it is alcantra
im planing to order some oem recaro bolster skin and inside foam
but hoping there is a local shop who can do the work, that are familiar with reassembling seats and stuff
there is a DIY thread i saw, seems a lot of work n i rather not try it myself
^ dont wanna steer off topic but in regards to what you asked, I have status seats and the foam cushion pads down the middle of the chair are in 3 separate velcro pieces, I always thought about cutting them open and stuffing them with foam and stitching them back together lol.. never have the balls to do so

^ You could always try a mockup using generic fabric to see if its worth doing. If the foam is that worn in the seat, its worth a try.

would like to know about the cleaning as well. i dont wanna mess it up myself
so far so good
i spent about 2 hrs and half cleaning them, however i was too lazy to take them out
especially the back of my seat are 95% clean, so i just spend most of the time cleaning the front.
suppose to be 1:6 mixing ratio, end up my bottle was too small to add anymore water so it became 1:4 ratio. Therefore it was a bit too foamy but oh well no biggie
using two heater right now to dry it in my car
result looks good so far
Not really racist!
