Hey! I do that banana/chocolate cheerio thing too! I also put in some bananas.

My other favourite thing to do is get some Inn Keeper's raisin bread from costco and make french toast. (Best raisin bread) I also put extra eggs to fill up the pan and make it into a french toast omelet. Tooo yum. Protein!

Another one, heavy on protein, which some of you including my gf will think is gross is... 6+ egg omelets filled with leftover tomato sauce or chili with ~1lb of ground beef. Maybe Cheese!

Gf doesn't want me eating too many eggs. I used to eat 12 at a time. :okay:

Typical breakfast for me consisting of a combination of:

1 shot of espresso or dry cappuccino
1 cup oatmeal
2 eggs (scrambled or sunny side up) with 2 slices of grilled ham
2 pieces of whole grain toast with peanut butter & jam (non salted & organic)
1 banana or apple
1 serving of yogurt
1 bowl (250g) of Vector cereal

I thought this thread was going to be full of recommendations for places to go for good breakfast :okay: ...

I've eaten at the following satisfying restaurants for breakfast:

Red Wagon Cafe (http://www.redwagoncafe.com/menu)
McJac's Roadhouse Grille (http://www.roadhousegrille.ca/food-drinks/)
Central City Brewing Co. (http://www.centralcitybrewing.com/our-menus/brunch-menu/)
Morrison Cafe
Jethro's Fine Grub (http://www.jethrosfinegrub.com/)
The Boathouse (http://www.boathouserestaurants.ca/food/vancouver-restaurants-brunch.php)

8/10 for every single place; however I am not a food critic or some type of breakfast connoisseur. Check out the menu online.

If I find ten dollars I'm going back to Jethro's for more chocolate chip banana bread french toast because when you eat it you feel like Guy Fieri and it makes you say "duuude, that's money! You're on point!!"

I tried out Brown Dog Cafe. I tried a little bit of the pulled pork breakfast special and apple bacon french toast. Not bad. The sauce could have been a little bit thicker but the pork was delicious. The apple bacon french toast was awesome though! I would definitely go back for that.

Been there twice. After you get over how colourful the restaurant and food are, and how friendly the service is, you'll realize how little value you get for the prices. A decent alternative every once in a while still.

1/2 - 1 cup of boiled rolled oats
Throw in your choice of fresh fruit such as, strawberries, blueberries or sliced bananas. Add some nuts such as, almonds, pecans or both! You can also add some good quality jam if you do not have fruit around the kitchen. If you have a sweet tooth for chocolate, you can even add chocolate chips to the rolled oats as they will melt very quickly due to the hot oatmeal.

This is a quick and easy way to make a good and healthy breakfast. I do it everyday except I don't always add fruit, I usually eat it plain.

You can also make granola out of rolled oats in your spare time and eat that whenever you wish with fruit and/or yogurt.

This type of meal may not be the greatest and its not for everyone as many people like larger and far more delicious meals but I thought I should mention it anyways. I hope this helps atleast a little bit.
