We regret to inform you that W&W has been forced to cancel all of their appearances through the month of June. W&W’s Willem van Hanegem is currently in the hospital with heart and lung complications and on doctor’s order has been grounded for the entire month of June. Willem is expected to make a full recovery but will be unable to travel until June 30th.

Some tier 1 pool parties get iffy with cargo shorts, I've seen some guys get denied entry for wearing cargo shorts and others let in. I'd say rock boardshorts to be safe, its really up to the discretion of the staff if they like your "look"

You don't need to lineup to get into each stage. Just walk in there. You'll have to snake your way into the middle if you want to be there. Main stage is just a pain in the ass to get in/out. Once in there, it's shoulder to shoulder. I stayed mainly on the stage with the grass field and the one next to it last year.

GL to all that are going and have fun. Hopefully they figured out the traffic situation this year.

Having post EDC depression after looking through the pictures and videos I took. Definitely going back next year.

We ended up getting really close to the front at the main stage during the last night. It was amazing.

I led our group of like 10 people up every set. Bought one of those light up sticks so they could follow me. Made a train. Before Above and Beyond, we each bought 4 or 5 bottles of water to keep us hydrated. Filled up 2 bags full of water bottles.

Ended up staying from Above & Beyond to the end of the whole festival. Definitely the best night.

Oh, I probably spent more on bottled water than booze this weekend lol

Drinking wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I drank the souvenir cup drinks which were supposed to be doubles but we kept buying from a guy who basically free poured like quadruples. $15 per drink or $17 if you got redbull. Bought a water with each drink so $20 total. Only drank about 4 per night. Pre drank all day and like crazy on the shuttle.

Way better than the stupid $38 mojito I had at the Liquid Bar pool party in Aria.

Didn't make it to bottle service at Tao as planned. The group we were going with got kicked out of the hotel at 10pm for too loud of music. lol.


Highlights for me at EDC were:
Tiesto. Set was fucking amazing. a little bummed he didnt play maximal crazy as that was the one song I was really expecting.
Bingo players were sick too but that stage cant accommodate large crowds. Laidback Luke had about 4 times as many people around the stage as in it.
Knife Party was a fucking rock concert, so god damn bad ass!
Hardwell was really good too, and so was Calvin Harris.

Next year Im going to do VIP for better access to the circuit grounds stage.

Best part of EDC week IMO was Encore Beach Club, so many beautiful people just running around partying, amazing service and vibe, spent about $2k alone there on the Friday and totally worth every penny, lol $95 pitchers of slushy rum/vodka drinks at daybed service.

Personally I found EDC itself a bit overrated. First day will call was an absolute gongshow, no organized lines, heard some people had to wait almost 4hours, lucky me and the gf brought our print out receipts and was able to skip will call and they just let us in with that. Shuttle lines going there were the best going at around 11pm, no lines at all at the Mirage location, coming back, there were long lines, but we just jumped in the shortly lines for the shuttles going off strip like to Rio, then tipped the driver extra to go to the strip to our hotel.

Not sure I'll go back to EDC next year, probably just to all the pool parties during the week.

the main stage wasnt as loud as the rest of them. but the problem mighta been how fucking big it was. looking at pictures, it looks like there is an area inside the main speaker towers that woulda been real loud, but most people woulda been outside of it. it still sounded really good, just not as loud.

shuttles were pretty good for me. all depends on which hotel your at too as some lines are shorter then others. also depends on when you leave too. if you leave like right at 5am be prepared to wait 1+ hour

Theres no way cabbing would be better than shuttling. $100 per trip x6 = $600 split 4 ways = $150.

And shuttles have priority. There was a 3 way intersection leaving EDC where the shuttle and cab route splits off from the main road. The shuttles came from one way and the cabs came from the other. The police were directing traffic and the shuttles had the right of way. The cabs all just sat there waiting. And we're talking like 200+ shuttles. And the whole thing was basically a 2 lane backroad so the cabs were stuck in the same traffic.
