I went to this shipping depot to ship an item back to US after I decided not to keep. Located on Cambie Street next to Annas Cake House/Yusaf Salon.
LINK: Packaging Depot - South Cambie - Vancouver, BC

They were listed as Fedex Authorized dealer and when I approach them, they were very kind and offered many other services of my choice, from DHL, Fedex, UPS, etc. The clerk answered all my questions patiently and advise which is best for my item.

Tell them you are shipping to Asia and ask them which company would be best, they will offer pricing, insurance, and which service offers tracking or not. This way, you can weigh out which is suitable for you.

Good luck!

I like FedEx or DHL. I'd personally stay away from UPS though.

Where in Asia? If HK there is no tax or duty

I have had good experiences with all 3 major couriers. The only bad one is EMS/Speedpost (I thnk it's called ExpressPost in Canada). Basically the post office courier service. They never come to my door, and one time I missed a crucial delivery on Friday and had to wait until Monday to get it. This caused me to miss a deadline

UPS, I ship documents back to asia all the time, arrives within 24hrs door to door with the same courier is important for tracking purposes. Some couriers will hand off to "agents" where they don't have coverage in that area, and then your parcel is deemed delivered at that point because the agents don't have the logistics technology to follow all the way through to the door.

I use UPS all the time to ship important high value documents and they've delivered everytime, on time when international. Picking the largest penetration/coverage from your shipping location to destination is important to me.

If the value of the total shipment is = or over $2000 Canadian you will need to get a B-13/CAED stamp from Custom. (does not apply if you are sending it as a gift).

Here is the site for anything that does not require declaration (NDR).

Exporting - Reporting your exports - No Declaration Required

It's their brand of EMS services.. Almost all postal carriers have it, but they brand it differently. In HK it's called SpeedPost and in USA it's called ExpressMail. In UK they call it AirSure. Australia also calls theirs ExpressPost

It's a good service TO Canada and other countries, I use them all the time with success. But receiving in HK sucks.
