I'll most likely end up going due to missing NYE because I'll be in Mexico :(
Aside from Faxing Berlin, Move For me,Strobe & TT's remix of the Veldt, I don't really like anything by Deadmau5, and I only expect him to play 2 of those 4.
I haaaaaaate dubstep, so when Nero come's on I'd go pook off somewhere and not listen to his set. I don't know anything about lazy Rich or the other guy.

I guess Alesso's the only reason I'd wanna go as well.

Can anybody confirm that Calvin Harris is going to be playing that night. I heard rumors that he is the special guest that night. It seems legit as he is going to be playing in Calgary the next day.

My sister used wirelessbox office in the summer for a concert.
She said there was a completely separate line for the wbo tickets and it was pretty much VIP as she skipped a huge line. And Rogers employees were there (well they had the wireless box office shirts on)

So I'm assuming this is the same for all events?

Why Not?

Because he is a producer who plays his own music.

Deadmau5 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deadmau5)

Comment about DJs

Zimmerman doesn't like to be referred to as a DJ. In an October 2008 interview with the Irish Daily Star, deadmau5 was quoted as follows:

"It puts me to fucking sleep, to be quite honest; I don't really see the technical merit in playing two songs at the same speed together and it bores me to fucking tears and hopefully, with all due respect to the DJ type that will fucking go the way of the dinosaur, I'd like them to dis-a-fucking-ppear! It's so middle man, they're like fucking lawyers! You need them, but they're fucking cunts. God bless them, they're my number one customer right, so I'm not gonna go diss every fucking DJ. But to say you become this massive, "up on a podium" performer by playing other peoples productions, at the same speed as someone else's productions and fading between the two of them, I don't get it..."[39]

Zimmerman apologized for this comment on November 4, 2008. He explained that the interview was bad, and that it did not express his opinion about DJs correctly:

"Let me start by admitting … I did not grow up in the EDM scene. I don't consider my career to be about "being a DJ". I don't have "DJ roots". I never had any intention of becoming a DJ, and my conception of "DJ's" in general from this standpoint has always been being forced into some nightclub when I would have rather stayed home, and watch some dude mash the "play/stop" button and occasionally move a pitch slider. Love it or hate it … that's just been my conception of the traditional "DJ". Mind you, I'm not a total fucking idiot, and I recognize talent when I see it … and there are many talented DJ's out there for sure. In my eyes, those would be the individuals who utilize technology to deliver the music in ways that are both skillful and innovate, more-so than my vision of the "play/stop/pitch" DJ. To me, the club is about "the party"; the people make the night; the DJ obviously needs to use that to his advantage, it's give and take."[40]

he doesnt like to be referred as a dj =/= he is not a dj

and besides ive seen him play other ppl's songs in some of his sets. deadmau5 unhooked.

edit : if you're arguing on literally what a DJ is then sure i guess u can say deadmau5 isnt a dj, but nowadays these " producers " get referred to as a dj anyhow, just for the sake of it.

Rogers Wireless Box Office (http://wbotickets.ca/FAQ.aspx)

Can I give my ticket to someone else?
YES you can! To forward your mobile ticket to a friend or multiple friends, simply locate the messages and select forward (if your wireless device offers a list of forwarding options, select MMS and then SMS) Input your friend’s wireless phone number and hit send. Your ticket will be sent to your friend’s wireless phone and they will now have access to the event using your mobile ticket with or without you present. Ensure the phone you are forwarding the tickets to is either SMS or MMS capable before sending. Ticket recipients do not have to be on the Rogers network to use forwarded tickets; however we cannot guarantee the ticket will work properly once it leaves the Rogers network.

Alesso was good, Nero was terrible, Deadmau5 was ok. Extremely disappointed that he ended his set 10 mins early saying that he was tired.

Alesso was good, I didn't listen to any of Nero, and Deadmau5 didn't really impress me. Thank god
I was high as fuck otherwise it wouldn't have been worth it. Went to Shogun and he killed it, impressed by the variety in track choice and loved the throwback Tiesto track during. if anyone saw a white guy in a panda hat @ Shogun that was me :o

Alesso was good, Nero was terrible, Deadmau5 was ok.

Agreed. Chris Lake was pretty good too. Alessos set was good, but IMO could've been better like his sets at EDC, Tomorrowland etc.

Also sucked that BC Place didn't open the bleachers.

deadmau5 disappointed me. Ended abruptly.

I liked Nero but Alesso was the best outta the three imo.

Was in the long ass coat check line for the longest time and heard greyhound and calling playing i was like zzzzzz ... got into the floor nero started playing dubstep zzzz.. deadmau pretty chill music but nothing too exciting and he ended set 10 mins earlier.. was ready for professional greifers to be dropped but came out disappointed.

Ended up @ shogun since frd had tickets. Music selection was great but the environment was just a totally different story compared to BC place.

thank god my friend told me about the long ass cost check line
Left it in the car and braved the weather

Now deadmaus...what a huge disappointment and very arrogant
He had a couple of his signature bangers but the rest was just filler
Is his ego so big he can't play other dj's music?

Didn't mind the environment at Shogun, thought it was pretty good until the fights started.

Not exactly sure...this is what I saw: A fight broke out near the bar between two dude, ended pretty quickly. Later the same dudes started another fight outdoors, and then two chicks also went at it. Closed down Gossip around 2:30.
