There's a Facebook Offer by ChineseBites.com for Tropika to receive 6 FREE satays (I recommend the chicken).
I also recommend the KL crab, one of the best crabs I've tasted, however it is very pricey, almost $50 just for the crab, but it is their signature dish.

I boycott Tropika for using canned pineapple in my pineapple fried rice during pineapple season.

Thanks OP, I think their lamb satay is better though and the pineapple fried rice is a little disappointing, but the coconut seafood fried rice is :sweetjesus:

One more thing, when I went they forgot to put the pineapple of all things! I had to send it back to get my canned pineapple added
No lie.

Not sure how valid this is and I don't want to be the one spreading it if it's not true but I heard from former Tropika employees that they re-use the Pineapple shells too? :heckno:

Yes. It is true.
My friend worked there as a server.

Isn't that ... gross?... cuz it's a fruit shell ... it would absorb all the old oily food ... and possibly the previous customer's ... germs ... no amount of "scrubbing" would get it out ... :Puke:
