I'm looking for a moderately priced restaurant in either the Downtown, Metrotown, or Richmond Center area that will take reservations for a group of 30 people around the Christmas time (Dec 21-ish). The only one I know of is the Lansdowne Cactus Club.

Not any of the locations you stated, but Insadong near Lougheed? I hate it, but you can fit a lot of people.

Hapa Izakaya Robson is a great place for company parties. They will most definetly open up the back lounge for the party, especially if you reserve for a weekday. The drinks and food are a bit on the pricier side, but it is tapas (little plate) style so the dishes are under 10 dollars, but they are small, and most order 3 or more to share between 2 people.

Most "white" restaurants will do a party of 30 if given enough advance and depending on the time. Earls @ Old Orchard (Metrotown) should be able to handle it but entrees are $15-$30.

**P.S. The "give enough advance notice" is pretty crucial too considering you want something around Christmas when EVERY company will try to be booking for large office parties. So definitely start to call around and see if you can book it NOW!**

All I will say is good luck. A group of 30 typically is hard enough but a group of 30 for Dec 21st and being this late in the year makes it 100 times harder. You will probably end up having to settle for a shitty restaurant only because they are the only ones who can take you. I hope that's not the case and honest if Cactus has room, that may be a good option right now. Just my 2 cents of course.

Cucina Toscana in Richmond should be able to accommodate. I think they will create a menu to fit the budget as well.

Ebisu can easily accomodate a party of 30. We host many parties of 20-30 all the time. Our seating capacity is approximately 250, but if you do decide please book soon, as other mentioned it is holiday season and many stores (Lululemon, hair salons, Banana Republic, etc) around DT area are all booking already. :)
