| Romantic places to go at night?
Anyone know where I can take le gf out at night (likely going to rain)? Preferably in Richmond or Vancouver.. E.g. looking at stars, etc.

outdoors is hardly romantic at these temperatures. During this season it's best find a place to cozy up together rather than go out and look at stars, etc.
Star gazing is more awesome during the summer nights so your best bet is to reserve it for that; but if you really really want to do this, I too suggest Cypress lookout and to a lesser extent Burnaby Mountain

Whytecliff park/horseshoe bay is nice as well, as long as it doesn't rain.
Stanley park parking lot (next to totem poles) is nice in the rain if you stay in the car.

I like prospect point looking at lions gate down by the water. I'd go in the cold but not in rain obviously.
Get a blanket if its not too cold, sit on a bench, and ya.

Stanley Park lookout, near Prospect Point - really romantic looking at the Lions Gate bridge lights, and dark enough...
Also Granville Island, underneath the bridge.

Whytecliff park. But not at night though, maybe dusk/sunset. Its fucking pitch black there at night. I went once and left immediately because I thought an axe murderer will jump out and fucking murder us both.
