Not known for its sense of humor, the Chinese Communist Party’s official mouthpiece apparently fell for a parody by The Onion (http://www.theonion.com/articles/kim-jongun-named-the-onions-sexiest-man-alive-for,30379/?ref=auto),
the satirical newspaper and Web site, when it reported Tuesday in some online editions of People’s Daily (http://english.people.com.cn/90777/8035568.html) that Kim Jong-un (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/people/k/kim_jongun/index.html?inline=nyt-per), the young,
chubby North Korean ruler, had been named the “Sexiest Man Alive for 2012.”
