That's why. It was a shitty port unless you used an Xbox controller.

After watching trailers and reading, it sounds like it's going to be a lot more story oriented. Which I'm excited for, as the only way to get a whole story in Dark Souls was to dig through item descriptions and official lore.
Just hoping it isn't too "dumbed down" as they've also stated they want everything to be more approachable.
