Yea that connors day meet was pretty sweet!
Nothing special happened in my life this year but I did get a ride in my friends evolution, which I thought was pretty neat!

I adopted a dog this year, after 27 years of wanting one.

Saw my favourite band, Refused reunite after 14 years, and got to see them twice. (I bet 90% of people on here will be like "what the fuck" but whatever.

And I got engaged. Great year. This is only my personal excitements, so I don't really know if anyone cares, but hey, shit is good, so I thought I'd share.

I lost 60 pounds was able to bench near 300 pounds, reduced my debt, decided what my career was going to be.

This year though was mostly negative though.

I met some pretty sweet people, and at year's end, met some awesome people.

Glad I bought my car, allowed me to meet a lot of great people, showed me some serious community work with the whole richmond subaru bullshit and taught me the mechanical side of things on more then just Subaru's. If I hadn't bought the car, I'd be soullessly completing my 9-5 job and wondering what I did wrong 10 years down the line.

surprised that so many RS members were willing to lend a hand for me to borrow a 14mm socket and help lower my car in the middle of the night.

You RS stalked me I feel special now.
I used to own it I sold it, I didnt buy it to mod it. Civics are not cars you mod, waste of money and time. Butthurt honda fans yep. I own a 240sx now, something worth while to invest money in. And i did sell it for school, which by the way was for automotive tech.

You RS stalked me I feel special now.

most thanks i've ever gotten in a post :fullofwin:

Personal - My best friend managed to beat cancer this year for the second time in her life and survived a very risky surgery doing so.

RS - Helping out random members I've never met before when they have car troubles.

edit: Oh, and Conner's Day. I'm proud of this club to have committed ot such a big meet in such a small amount of time!

Best part of 2012? The st0ck & n00b meets. They were a lot of fun and we'll want to be doing them again in 2013. They were 0% BS and it was great to meet a lot of new folks out there. Go find a post of bcrdukes and hit the THANKS button.

Biggest regret of 2012? Trying to put rules on the "Fucked Up Shit" thread. The amount of hate I got for that one made me regret being born. Sorry folks. I briefly fucked up the fucked up shit.

Hmmm 2012 eh, What a year.

Got my N after having an L for almost 4 years because i got my car on the road. Spent a ton of money on building an engine and my car. Got in a few concerts like Motorhead, Kiss, Metalica and a few others. Did some Hiking, camping, offroading, Road trips and some placer mining.

Meet some pretty cool guys at some of the meets i started to attend this year and got to see some nice cars, even got some compliments about my old gray 80s hatch :P
Worked my ass off and bought a second car (Black on black) that was a one owner. Sat for 9 years not running and had electrical problems and now it runs and drives quite well but needs a little more tuning.

Also found out that i am going to be a Big Brother this March! I dont care if i get a brother or a 3rd sister... I am going to teach them how to wrench :joy:
Oh also can thank again Nabs for the awesome photo of my car. Nicest photo i have of my baby (link below)

After being without a toy for a couple years, I finally bought a motorcycle again, and it so happens to be my dream bike, and got it for a steal after being contacted out of the blue to buy it when I thought it was gone.

My busiest year for acting; booked 4 commercials, a couple features and TV shows, won a best actor award for a local film contest, and went to New York with the film.

Film didn't win, but half way through my trip I met a girl, and we fell in love. That was in September, and I'm finally getting to go back; we've kept in touch, and I will be ringing in the New Year with her in NYC :victory:

RS: Summer Meet's "Think of the Children" Food bank drive. Over $500 was raised in the end which equalled to $1500 worth of money donated by our members

Anything else (personal: work/life etc etc) has been fantastic. Really can't complain!

one of the worst years I have ever personally ever had. Lost some good friends and it just sucked. Have to use the negative as a postive tho because this upcoming year is going to be the best ever for me.

And thank god we won't have to hear about Dec21,2012 anymore!!

Decent year filled with new people and opportunites, but badly marred by poor personal development because of how certain things went.

Awesome year.

Graduated, got a new car, started law school at UBC, met people who I think will be great colleagues/friends for life.

Time flies... I remember myself at this time last year looking at a future that was uncertain.

Lost some, won some. It's been a slightly less than average year. At the end of the day I still have what matters, so I can't complain too much. Here's to hoping next year will be better.

It's been a rough year. but I'm glad I'm ending the year with the right people in my life.
Also became a mother to the most loving child ever!
Maybe things didn't go the way I wanted to but nothings ever perfect.
I met some great people this year.
I finally let go of those who put me down instead of bringing me up.
