I Don't want to keep it but would like kreative suggestions how I can give it away

A) Donate it to one of the local charities
B) Give it to one of the homeless beggers downtown
C) Go through Mcdonalds Drive-through and pay for person behind me's meal
D) Choose someone randomly and give them the money

Before christmas I was doing my last minute shopping and while walking in front of dressew on hastings i seen 45$ near the entrance. I slowly paced over it in total disbelief. It was in the doorway begging to be picked up. all the terrible scenarios came though my head, someone is going to jump out of the building and interview me about, or it's attached to a string and some asshole prankster is pulling it, or It will cause the end of the world. I decided to ignore it. Walked two buildings down and a rough looking hobo asked me for change, I told him of the money on the street and he didn't believe me. I looked behind me(3 people walked past it in this time, this cannot be real life) and pointed at it. He ran towards it, snatched it, yelled profanities in excitement, then ran east down hastings. From my experience anon, I'd say you should probably keep it. I lost 250$ in a parking lot not too long ago and I personally believe that it's more trouble to bring that money back to the owner then it is good. Best thing to do is to keep it for yourself. Because some day you will lose that exact amount and hate yourself for it. It's a very strange event that rarely happens in our lives, finding money, but I think you will lose the amount eventually, somehow or in someway. And maybe, just maybe, the owner of that 20$ bill will find it and complete the circle.

Sorry to hijack thread OP but I was shopping for a few things to make dinner for the fam the other night , get to the check-out and after I get my items on the conveyor belt I realize I forgot my wallet in my other jacket at home. I shamefully take everything off of the belt, back into my basket and begin to put everything back on the shelf. I get to the last remaining items in the produce section and find $25 on the floor. No one is around. Now, normally, I probably would have turned it in to lost and found as I pictured some little kid crying over losing his/her Xmas money to buy gifts.... but on this day, I figured someone was looking down on me and paid for my groceries. Too bizarre to ignore so I had to spend that money.
