I was browsing on redflagdeals and for those of you who don't go on there, I found this deal for ski promotions for us BC residents.
Grouse, whistler, and seymour have 50% off on their lift tickets for the day. It looks like cypress isn't participating though.

50% off, ride 25% of the runs of a normal day. I couldn't imagine a busier day to go ride.

It's already so busy at Grouse every weekend, I can't imagine how much more busier it'll get with the 50% off promo.

I'm taking the Thursday & Friday leading up to that weekend off for some Whistler skiing. Hopefully those two days won't be that busy.

I'm more worried that there'll be no snow left on the mountain by the time I get there. That 189cm base is pittance compared to the 300-500 I've been skiing on Washington in the past month :fullofwin:

Well that sucks...
I wanted to go to Cypress. Don't like Grouse as much.

If everyone else is going to be at the other mountains,
should be a good idea to go to Cypress then??

Any word about Hemlock deals? An out of town friend is heading there this Sunday so I'd like to know whether I should warn her about the crowds or not.

Yeah, I know Hemlock sucks. :lol

Whistler is probably the best deal.

If you go up to the peak, I can't imagine too many people being there.

Teach her how to carve a turkey in the kitchen where she belongs

All jokes aside, I feel that Grouse is gonna be a nightmare on family day. Waiting for the tram to get to the top of the mountain will probably a nightmare.
