cool! too bad their sizes run so huge :(
It would be nice if they have a brick and motar store to check out the material/fitting.
jeeesus 18" shoulders is a SMALL for their peacoat. I actually might fit that but the chest is 20" and thats for sure not gonna work.
I've actually been looking for a quilted jacket like the Ferguson but their small is 18.9" at the shoulders. That's a nogo for sure. I'm a 17.5-18 type of guy.
Based on the measurements, all these coats fit like sacks.
like sacks? that means it would be good for a big feller like myself?

I would call them to make sure they're open before you head down.
Measurements are always hit or miss online in my experiences.
I just wish I could actually go down there to try them on. These prices are pretty cheap.
If any of you go down to try them on let us know how the sizing fits.
I might just buy one online and take the chance.

The measurements are listed, so there's no guessing. Unless you think they measured wrong? I mean yeah trying to figure out S/M/L for many brands is usually a crapshoot but when the numbers are laid down like they are here you just measure yourself and compare.

Measure yourself or a well-fitting jacket and compare them to the measurements on the site. It seems like they suit dudes with broad shoulders and big chests, which, unfortunately isn't my body type.

Will they actually let us try it on or is it just a hipster on a macbook with shitloads of boxes in the background. :troll: I guess I'll bang on the door tomorrow when I'm down there.:fullofwin:

You can try it on. From the picture of the store it's a pretty basic setup. It looks like it's in a loft and there are the racks on one side and mirrors on the other. Very simple layout.

Yeah, I know what you mean. But, sometimes even with their measurements listed I find that it is still hit or miss. The best would be to try the coats on.
Though, I believe your assessment of these coats being bigger based on the measurements alone.

Fabric is not bad for wool however there is no filler inside the fabric so don't expect to wear it for snow/windy days. Great for indoors wear at a special event. I wear XL T shirts I barely fit in a medium but large was perfect for me. Buttons are normal quality plastic and the handmanship is so so. For example, there are creases on the back on one side if I fold my arms (note: they only had large for the charcoal funnel to try so can't comment on others; my body isn't funnel style friendly anyways). Not bad for $75 from a fashion standpoint but don't expect to last long.
Also you can pick up there if ordering online; I asked about a french navy coat, order today and the expected pickup is on thursday.

"indoor events"
is there something I'm missing here? Are we talking like spectating a hockey game in a empty rink?

So if you were to go downtown clubbing or to a bar this weekend, you wouldn't wear one of their coats based on current temperatures?
Is the material that thin/light?
^ There's no filler inside it, basically wool and then polyester lining. If I don't have to line up for the club and drove to dtwn, I would wear it.
It's not bad, it's just something I wouldn't wear to brave freezing weather outside.
And by last long... I mean wear and tear.

I got dat gymnastics shoulders.

Ahh icic ok thanks.
Yeah my best buddy just went down, this is what he said:
"It's okay, pretty decent. Not much difference than H&M or Zara"
"Some are thicker and warmer than others"
The coats are from China
My buddy wears medium tees, he's 5'9" and 150lbs. He said a small would be perfect for a trim fit.
He said he would go for a medium for a double breasted coat if he wanted to wear a suit under it.
He also said that you can't really go wrong. The style is different, it's local, and it's cheap.
There are more styles there that are not on the site, so check it out for more options.
