| Pre-paid Phone Plan?
I have relatives coming from the States, they have unlocked phones. They were asking me which company had the best deal (cheapest) to have a phone to use for a few days.
Does any company do pay-as-you-go anymore?
Any help would be appreciated! Posted via RS Mobile |

Also to add they will start coming to Vancouver more frequently (like 3+ times per year) so is there any other suggestions? Posted via RS Mobile |

Speakout Wireless @ 7-11
It's $10 for the SIM card, and 25 cents per minute for talk. The airtime lasts for one year. So at a minimum, you can add $25 and take up to a year to use up the airtime. However, there is a $1.25 charge per month for 911.
For texting, it's 10 cents for outgoing sms, unlimited incoming.

My dad has a pay as you go from fido. He just buys the phone cards from 7-11 or something. $10 for 30 days @ 30 cents/min or something.
I think it would really depend on the phones they're going to be using and which frequencies they run on. The phones may be unlocked but they'll only be compatible with certain carrier networks for voice and data.
This link should help: http://www.tintedgreen.net/guide-wil...-carrier-here/

It really depends which services they will be using.
I know most outgoing text are $0.25, but most $10 vouchers will be $0.10.
Fido is the only one I know that have the pay per use, which means you don't have to put any money in your account and it'll charge whatever you use.
It's at $0.30/min, text is $0.25. Best part is it includes call display. Funny how it's free but when you get a monthly plan it's not free.
Oh and also, fido is the only one I know that allows any unlocked phone to use pre-paid plan.
