What is to blame for an accident, the speed, or the driver?
Cars don't veer off the road on their own, unless it's a Toyota. What we need is a proper licensing program, one that shows how capable you are of actually controlling a vehicle.
All you have to do now is putt around for a few blocks and you're home free. You don't have to show that you can actually handle a vehicle in an emergency or stress. Sure, you can take YD, but even that isn't very demanding, and it isn't required at all.

Wow, Timpo has been on RS since March 2002??? I assume that he's been posting out dated information on RS for a long time.
-shocked that members and thread moderators have tolerated Timpo's posts for that long. Now that's patience.
This is turning into a Timpo thread. :troll:

I like the crazy body kits he posts. Also, a Timpo post is helpful when I need to know what happened exactly six months ago.
Some time in early April I expect to read about the re-election of Barack Obama.

As a sad sidenote, in several residential areas of Burnaby (including where I live) the limit is now already at 40.
It makes me wonder how much the fucking city had to spend to put up signage every second goddamned block to advertise that the previously-and-still-unenforced speed limits had changed.
