With reservations opening up on the 15th of this month, I was wondering if any of you have a favourite campground in BC? The only one I have been to is Cultus Lake, but that was nearly ten years ago =S

Bromley Rock Provincial Park - BC Parks (http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/parkpgs/bromley_rock/)
This is where I stayed last summer. It's frequented by families, but everyone was really friendly. Right on the Similkameen river iirc. No good for people who require proper toilets or showers while camping :)

As far as paying for provincial camping goes, I'm a fan of Ross Lake. It's a good place to take new campers out to or just people who insist on toilets. Rustic and in the middle of nowhere but still a staffed campground and with only very basic amenities. Last summer we had 2 bears and a few deer wandering around in the camp. Only electric motors allowed so it's a nice lake to take kayaks or a canoe out to as well. I'm on my laptop so I don't have any of my pics available but this shows the area (although about 2/3 of the campsites are in wooded areas and much more secluded):
