I bought these side skirts off ebay and they are like 1 inch too short. They are are also kinda twisted a bit. Anyone know how I can install these? I did some googling and people say fiberglass side skirts usually needs to be cut then lengthened with more fiberglass. Anyone done it before?
yea its not hard, but not fun to do
go to can tire, buy fiberglass cloth/resin.
cut the side skirt in the middle and get a flat surface to place the side skirts.
use a piece of 1/8" or 1/4" wood and screw/hot glue the inside bottom of the skirt to make sure its level and even.
start adding the resin / fiber cloth in small coating and try to follow the lines of the skirt.
keep going until the fiberglass is 1/16" thick then add bondo on surface and sand till it matches your side skirt details.
remove the piece of wood if possible

But if you are going to do some fiberglass work, always always gotta wear gloves.. I've had some bad experiences going gloveless with fiberglass :okay:

I came in to write install them into the garbage, but dukes beat me to it. Let it be a cheap lesson not to buy shitty quality stuff, before you waste more money for it to be an expensive lesson.

if there slightly warped you can just bake them on a flat surface... it does work, but shortness?.... ahhh JUNK BIN
Dealt with ebay kits before..fitment is almost always awful. should stay away from that stuff. hell, even some brand name stuff needs modification to fit properly. hindsight 20/20.
