it's not diss it's called having an opinion. if everybody loved the s-class there would be nobody rolling around in 7 series and LS..

and yeah i think the interior looks dated. that wood trim.. it's like trying to look sleek with the LCD screens but the rest of it..

MB designs in general gets dated faster. i mean take a look at the last gen C class or CLK, or even the last SLK. once the new SLK came out the last gen looked a lot uglier and dated to me. same goes for CLS.

whereas i think cars like E46s and some IS300s look like they could have came out of the showroom.

anyway i still think audi has the best interiors around. that a7 interior.... :megusta:

I agree with everyone about the dash, it seems they did not even try to implement the screens at all. I mean, the defined rectangular edge of the screen in that swoopy curvy dash panel. I think it will look alot better if you cannot tell where the screen begins and ends when the car is off, and once powered up, then you see the screen light up...

If the whole thing was flush with no borders, it will look alot better in my opinion! (somewhat like the 2013 Jaguar XJ interior dash), when the jaguar XJ dash is off, i think all you see is a black void.... where the instrument cluster is... not a rectangle border with a black screen in a swoopy hole...

Even though I'm not a potential S-Class customer, I hate touch screen function in cars. Give me a good analogue switch any day. If the panel happens to fail part way through a long drive, I'd like to be able to still control basic functions like... y'know, turning on the heater or changing the radio station.

I think Lexus really nailed the digital gauge.

It got actual hardware panels that move along depending on setting. Creating the illusion of a multi-layer digital dash without looking boring.

I saw it on a new Lexus IS and it was really really nice.

I've personally learned my lesson with my 7 and I'm staying clear of BMW's next year when I replace my 7. I'm currently looking at the Panamera GTS , it is a car you either love or hate when it comes to the styling but have doing research, it's one of the best high end luxury sedans to purchase when it comes to resale value.

went to s class training.

the chauffer option is gonna be baller. basically the s class replaces the maybach as well. thus some items are ultra luxury.
the new comand is a bit crazy, took some time to navigate.

and you will never want to leave the seat with the hot stone massage function... (no happy endings though)
