Fantastic showing, guys. Had to leave early but I was very impressed by the sheer numbers of cars that showed up. If you took photos or video footage, feel free to share 'em! Got there by 1050 and no parking! This is the biggest turnout I've ever seen in awhile! No douche burn outs either! Did see some people getting radared and ticketed when I was leaving though! Highlight of the meet was hearing some hippie green cyclists making comments like "I can't believe all these people are driving and ruining the environment!" I just LOLd

Lets not forget the bunch of 240's and supras sliding out of the lots and almost into the ditches. And a bunch of two-step revving as well. Probably one of the least well behaved spring meets. But not as bad a the summer meets!!!

Oh really? We left around 12:30 and I didn't really see much except for some guy revving the crap out of his supra, a bunch of people parking in poorly chosen areas and some people screwing around on the road on the way there.

Sucks. I don't get why people can't just act civilized, especially at big meets like that.

If you have Lightroom, you can do a batch white balance for all of your photos. Give it a try if you haven't already. It's a huge time saver and it has tons of great features which are super easy to use.

About the wheels... long story.. They were curbed several times and came out like that.. :okay: It s a second hand. There were some curbed area already. :ahwow: And one time I went down Arthur Laing Bridge, a truck on my right tried to change to my line and didn't flash turning light or leave enough space for me. :ahwow: I tried to avoid a collision and curbed on the left...(Damn the truck driver!!:yuno:)

I think I saw this Genesis on Hwy 17/99 in the afternoon during my Point Bob gas run. Also saw a white Mazdaspeed 3 with a black hood in Tsawassen, several clean white DA Integras in Richmond and a group of about 7-8 bikes heading up Steveston Hwy. They all looked like RS-meet candidates :nyan:

Spanish Banks is the zone of Jim Pattison Scion, who is also one of the major sponsors funding the meet. RevScene also has to protect it's sponsors who are creating such fun events such as this. As awesome as the car is, we cannot be unfair to our corporate sponsors. Also it's against Scion rules to be outside their regions. They were not granted permission and were also warned by Scion Canada not to attend the event via email.

If we host the summer meet in Richmond this year, OpenRoad is more than welcome to come and display any vehicles.

Yes Spanish Banks is a public space, but within the rules of the Dealership agreements, they are not allowed to cross into other people's territories unless given authorization by National.

I know these rules inside out as I was the OpenRoad marketing guy for 3 years. I was the one who helped launch Scion in Canada and actually helped with the zone process in BC. Before I left OpenRoad, I had drawn out maps of the exact area (down to the street) to which they can go into (physical copy and PDF'd version). Upon my leaving the company I had trained someone to ensure these rules were to be followed. So either they did not listen when I was training or they chose ignore it.

Remember the guy who brought the Lexus LFA to the last summer meet. That was me :)

It was not his car. In fact, it is Christian Chia's vehicle with a full decal of OpenRoad on it. The fact still stands, unless given authorization from national, no dealer employee may drive any dealer (unless manager demo) vehicle outside of their zone.

Thanks for understanding. Correct, you did not receive notice until Saturday afternoon which is less than 24 hours notice and we understand you probably spent some time detailing the vehicle as well, but you guys should really check with national with something you would have to question. I'm sure people will get chance to view it at the OR showroom and at any Richmond events (ie. a possible summer meet if it happens in Richmond).

That ITR is being posted so often because it's one of the sickest on this corner of the continent. I don't see any problem with that. It's more refreshing than seeing the same current Lambo's, Ferrari's, Astons and Bentley's on every page.

Hell, on this page alone I find pictures of the BRAT, StepWagon, Corolla and RL more interesting than those. I enjoy seeing people's work and pride on the road.

this is why you change everything on the car, my EF was Mellowman's car 2 years ago, since then its had 4 sets of wheels, exhaust re done, full interior, 2 engines, front and rear light setup, new lip and skirts, mirrors all around, suspension mods like sways, and lcas and all maintenance done, also small things like door levers, wiper deletes, new badges :D just takes time!

Firstly, you were not there to witness the event, and are basing your judgement off of a lousy video. Secondly, I viewed the situation from a different angle so of course I may have differing opinions which may or may not be correct. Thirdly, doesn't matter if he didn't drift or slide or anything, what he did was wrong and according to other members in previous posts, it wasn't his only time at the meet doing silly things. Stop trying to be cool.

I just truly don't understand why someone would want something that low at all. If someone throws coilovers on and lowers it an inch, Then i understand that as they wanted to improve handling, But this stupid "slammed" thing seems to be like the new hondas and fart cannons
