If this were on RS, I would so subscribe to the thread. I hope nobody says anything to the guy, so we can watch it take (and I use the term loosly) shape .

This guy is building it without using a saw once, I bet none of you arm chair carpenters are man enough to build a shed using only a hammer and a screw driver.

Guy so boss that he doesn't even need to cut the wood. If aliens attacked earth and stole all our saws (power and hand) I know who to hire as my carpenter,

If that is the case then Anyone with basic knowledge of construction would build the shed as to fit the material on hand ie. 10 foot floor Joyce you build either 10 or 20 or 30 foot subfloor not randomly overlapping lumber..

Bro do you even build?

First rule of building anything, go for the home depot discount bin first for all the cheap wrongly cut and damaged wood. Mismatched wood doesnt matter either. What kind of man would worry if their socks matched their shirt? Same goes for building and wood.

Bro, the discount bin pales in comparison to the pile of broken pallets. I can't believe they throw such useful stuff away!

Second rule of building, save $4 by buying exclusively 2' scrap drywall pieces. No worries about spending $25 more on drywall compound, sandpaper, and tape, or it taking eighteen times more work to complete. Fuck those overpaid professionals.

my neighbour made a shed/garage from scratch, pretty damn impressive structure. it has a slanted metal roof, rain gutters, window, and barn style door in case he wanted to back his van in to it...only thing missing was he didn't do any electrical in there for lights or receptacles...or plumbing...but man it was impressive seeing him spend a summer building it himself.

No, no, no, no, no............ we want to see this thing through. From start to disaster. All caught on video, so we can tell our grandchildren how epic it was as it unfolded before our eyes.

Sometimes we have to just keep quiet and let things unfold naturally, without intervention of any kind.

The Township of Langley has extensive rural zoning regulations, which the structure is violating; they are not contingent on wiring or plumbing. Building codes also continue to apply in rural zones. The Township of Langley has residential zones bordering on rural zones, however, and that appears to be the case here. If it is the case, the structure is violating even more zoning regulations.
