I'm craving some HK style fish ball noodle (ho fun), anywhere know where the most authentic HK style is in GVR? Like i mean authentic, even the noodles (ho fun) would taste like the HK style ones. THX

Damn, this post bringing me back the feels.

My mom would always pick me up from elementary school for lunch and cook this fat bowl of ho fun with fried fish balls in chicken stock with green onions.

best place ive had so far is in empire centre (next to parker, where the old hons use to be), in the food court theres a place called "leung kee". Watch out during peak lunch hour, they get crazy busy and could take a while

its pretty hard to miss because theyre the only shop thats always packed in a dead foodcourt haha. The also have "car son noodle" where you pick your own toppings and noodles.

He's probably referring to the bags of noodles that you can buy from them. I don't think it's possible for anyone to like Hon's food.

I'm not sure if it's the same shop but in that food court there is a shop that serves a delicious beef brisket ho fun too!

Not in GVRD but if you're ever in NYC; hit up a restaurant called "Bo Ky" in Chinatown NYC.

The rice noodle is thick and wide, soup broth is delicious too. Cheap too US$3.75

7.3/10 – Not too bad....Cheap & authentic Chinese food. Just don’t order that deep fried squid and you will be okay.
