Hi to all

If my camera is using ASPC sensor and the aperture is only F2.8, do you think I can still take good pics under low light condition without using my flash ?

Please kindly advise ASAP.

It would depend on the focal length of the lens, and the shutter speed. If it were at 16mm F2.8, you might be able to get away with 1/15 sec. and at 200mm 2.8, you might have a harder time without IS.

Doesn't really matter about what size the sensor is.

- which camera? different but same sized sensors render noise differently. this will also be affect by your noise reduction workflow
- IS/VR/VC/OS present? how low of a shutter speed can you handhold with respect to your focal length?
- define low light, or the environment you plan to shoot in
- consider dragging the shutter, and balance it with your flash if you need to freeze your subjects

depends on iso software in camera :lol

For reference, I have a D80 and it's pretty much useless at low light situations without flash..

Maybe some more information about what you would like to shoot would help. :)
