Lykan Hypersport: World’s Most Expensive Car

Revealed at this year’s Dubai International Boat Show, the Lykan HyperSport 2013 (from W Motors) is the world’s most expensive car absurdly priced at $3.4 million dollars.

Only 7 will be made, all manufactured in Dubai — the first Arabian supercar

• mid-engine twin turbo flat-six (built by RUF)
• 750 HP.
• 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds
• Top speed 395 km/h.
• Only 7 units to ever be made.
• $3.4 million USD.

I'll take a bugatti, a murcialago, 2 e30 m3s, a singer 911, a yellow bird, a 355 f1, and maybe a few odds and ends for them instead please. It looks like a 3.4 million dollar stormtrooper helmet on wheels.

It's one of those designs that I'm sure looks fantastic as a drawing, but when made real... it just doesn't translate as well. The pinched mid-rift just makes it look really weird. Well, so does the rest of the design.

I seriously doubt the 395km/hr claim, however. Not enough power and it doesn't look like it has a terribly great drag coefficient.

Yeah, it does look like a storm trooper. For 3.4 million, you're not getting the force from Star Wars with that ride.

I'd buy an Aventador, a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, a Koenigsegg Agera, and a Pagani Zonda for that amount of money instead.

Its a relatively new company that thinks it can capture the world's attention by putting a stupidly high price tag on their first car. I think the Top Gear (UK) crew will hate it.

Well, included in their long list of technologies that will help this thing be one of the fastest cars in the world is the option to adorn your headlights with any precious gemstones of your choice.

Oh, and you get a watch "valued" at $200,000 for free as well.

I will admit that the fact that they want to make the control switches in the center console holographic is cool, but I didn't think current technology was anywhere near that ability yet.
