I'm cruising to Alaska this Sunday, can anyone suggest the best place or must eat seafood or king crab? I'll be stopping in Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, and Ketchikan. Thanks!

There are no seafood restuarants in those areas. There is a stall near the port but it's a tourist trap. You eat outside on a picnic table. Price was $30-40 for AYCE crab legs. And those are only snow crab legs.

A cruise review site mentioned: Why bother paying premium money for mediocre tourist trap food when you have unlimited complementary good eats on the boat.

just ask for more on the ship... they will always give you more
If you can't pick what entree you have that night, just say you'll have it all

Yeah, I ate tons on the boat, a bit too much in fact, lol

Unfortunately there was no king crab on the boat.

I did manage to eat at a place called Tracey's Crab Shack in Juneau, it was probably a tourist trap but I didn't care. The shack was near the dock and you sit outdoor. 4 crab cakes, lobster bisque, butter garlic rolls, and one king crab leg, $34.95. It was pretty good, I think all they do is steam it in a big seafood pot. It was nice to eat king crab in its natural taste compared to eating it chinese style with all the garlic and stuff (although I do love very much). It was fun cracking the leg open and eating a huge piece of king crab in one bite. The lobster bisque was the best I think. Pictures below are the 2 orders of the $34.95 combo.

Suprisingly, I didn't see any other seafood/king crab places to eat at in the other cities..
