A friend of mine has a HTC butterfly, both phones don't use any screen protective film, will a normal person notice the difference between a 5.5in 720p AMOLED and 5.0in 1080p IPS? :squint:

i haven't played with one in person but most articles online is claiming pentile is no longer an issue at 440ppi...at least if you're holding it at the standard 8" length.

I'd go with 5" 1080p just so you don't have to scroll in and out on non-mobile friendly sites.

there is a noticeable improvement in image quality and sharpness when moving up to 1080P.

because your going to a higher PPI, so you should notice difference.. Note2 267ppi while Butterfly has 440ppi
