I am not to sure if this is the right section, or its even worth a thread about, but I would like to get the employee friends and family deal, I am looking into buying an iPad Mini for my mother and my father, so umm ya.

I know apple gives 15% to employee family and friends, and 30% for his own personal purchase, but do know its like limited 3Xs a year or smth. anyways if any one can hook me up that will be sweet

Maybe check you RS buy and sell CL or Kijiji? Or better yet if you dont' have the $$$ then buy something cheapers like a Nexus 7.

I once applied to Apple.

I worked in the retail/customer service industry for five years, had experience working in the computer industry, wrote a kickass resume and cover letter, and they never called me.

I was pretty disappointed, but it only goes to show how competitive applying for a job there is.

I was made aware of this discount, because that is how I got my MBP, but since my friend has already moved on from his position @ Apple. I thought I would just give it a shot after I made up my mind what I would get for my parents. I thought of RevScene as a resource community for its members.

I gave revscene members in "where do I buy this locally" my employee discount before when I worked in retail..I dont understand whats the big deal with this is

I would and have helped people on the side of the road if he was changing on his spare or stuck in snow or whatnot.

This thread has definitely changed the way I view some of the members of this forum.. or maybe I am just thinking to much.

And lastly, I want to point out that I was hired as a sales for Apple in Richmond, but I passed it up for something better. Those of you on here who knows me in RL life knows this.
