I'm interested in getting or building a Nixie clock. I'd like to know the best place to get one if any one has a suggestion, local or online ether way. Or if any one has one privatively listed?
(note I want a real nixie clock, not a look a like)
Thanks for your time and help.
For those who are wondering, this is a Nixie clock:

are they hard to make?
shit should make a bunch and sell em at the night market hahaha...
just looked them up on ebay.. they're hella expensive.
i would be interested in one too, if they could be found for cheaper... or put together yourself..

From what I've gathered, they are relatively easy to make, but the problem is the tubes them-selfs have been discontinued for years, making them semi rare. a lot of the kits/tubes you find on ebay are from Europe too, so I'm also guessing that not a lot were manufactured/imported to north America.

Buy a Nixie Watch (http://www.cathodecorner.com/nixiewatch/order.html) looks like they sell spare tubes for their watch.
