: What internet browser do you use on your mobile phone? RS Formatting issues?

Hey, i've been looking for internet browsers for my android for awhile. The problem I have is that almost all of them have text wrapping issues with Revscene. (I have an Android btw)

The only one I have found to work is Opera mini. It seems like it's Revscene only that i'm having this issue.

Which ones do you guys use and do you have this same problem?

Browser works. I sometimes use Firefox for downloads where Chrome and Browser doesn't perform.

Hey, I just realized that with the full desktop site, I don't get the formatting issues. I was just wondering how you request the desktop site? I think that may be the problem. I only seem to have the formatting errors when i'm on the mobile site.

Thanks!

There was another thread about this issue a few months ago - I posted some screenshots of what it's doing in Dolphin on my phone: http://www.revscene.net/forums/681072-revscene-mobile-text-scales-weird.html

I dunno if it happens with other browsers, but this is what it looks like in Dolphin:

First loaded, text is very small... some posts are narrow:

Some go full-width:

Quote boxes, however, stay full-width and don't re-flow when you zoom in:

^Interesting.
Yeah, mine does something similar, except the entire text doesn't wrap.

I used to use dolphin... loved everything about it until it started glitching on google where I wouldnt be able to open links on the same page. Tried clearing cache, re-installing and nothing seemed to fix it, so sadly, I had to stop using it.

Trying Firefox right now... its meh, but it serves the purpose. Might give Chrome a shot too.

I like Chrome mainly for the fact it can sync everything with my desktop version... but I find it a resource hog on my phone, compared to others like Dolphin.

just click settings and then click request desktop site.

That's really not improvement - still gives you tiny text and the need to scroll side-to-side if you zoom in... plus slower loading because of all the extra surrounding stuff.

I wish they would just fix the RS app on the Play Store. I paid for it just for it to have it have connection issues and refunded it.

edit; I figured out this is only for the android browser. What about other browsers like boat or maxthon?

I use Dolphin, no problems other than sometimes I cant scroll but that's only on specific websites so I think that's more to do with them than it is Dolphins fault.
