iPhone Backup Extractor
anyone know of any free softwares that is able to extract pictures/videos from iphone backed up files?

make a new backup, restore the old backup to phone. pull the files off phone. restore the new backup.

can't as my iphone was stolen. anyways i found a software to do it called dr.fone.

If you have ever backed up your iPhone via iTunes or iCloud, you can restore iPhone from the backup by using the iPhone Backup Extractor. iTunes and iCloud allow you to restore iPhone Picture, Videos, SMS, contacts, calendars, notes and settings directly from iTunes backup. At the same time, all of your iPhone data will be replaced by the backup data.

buy a new phone. restore to that one. borrow an old iPhone etc..
