so i recently got my hands on a pioneer e81c, its running on 4.1.2 & its full of crap

this phone & OS is pretty chinese made (i dont cant see any pioneer in the phone), i need to root the phone but i would like to know if cyanogenmod it as well

i actually want a playstore for my phone but not sure if that will work for my phone

most importantly i ask someone & they told me not all phones can be rooted which is odd, i thought all phones can be rooted

your best bet is to go XDA forums and see..

Yep Ferrari is right you need to check the XDA forums and see if there's a thread for your phone.

It's not that it's physically impossible to root all phones, but rather it depends on whether a developer has taken the time to find the particular root process for your phone.

Same goes for CyanogenMod. If there's no support for your phone, you're hooped.

(Note: doing a quick search on XDA no Pioneer phones are listed. You're next best bet is Google)

maybe a chinese version of XDA type forums is your best bet... Since its not popular phone on this side of the world...
