I've put in new ink in my printer. I've had the ink for quite awhile. when i try to print something it doesn't print anything. the page comes out blank. why is that happening?

Dry ink / Clogged Print Head / Clogged hose. Do a buncha head cleans on the printer then run a nozzle check.

i shook my cartridges it doesn't sound dry. ive cleaning the print head quite a few times and its still not prinitng

and cleaning the head is making my ink drain pretty fast. should i replace the ink?

Yeah.. inkjets suck like that.

Run it through some more cleaning cycles, and then print off your stuff. One you use up the ink, go buy an inexpensive color laser, and your ink will never dry up again.
